A save-the-date card with a unique laser-cut sleeve encouraged alumni and friends to make plans to attend the campaign's upcoming on-campus celebration.
To build excitement and drama for the campaign launch events, invitees opened an envelope stamped with the Every Carl for Carleton logo to find a tapestry of beloved campus scenes opposite a large "CARL" pop-up, and then a cascade of folds that revealed the weekend's itinerary.
The formal tri-fold event invitation for 385 major donors included a commissioned line-drawing of Carleton's campus, an RSVP card, and a lined envelope designed to express simple gratitude for the generous gifts received by the Carleton community throughout the campaign, and to shine a light on the impact of that giving.
The 18-page report was designed to thoughtfully demonstrate the impact of each of the four campaign priorities via personal stories and statistics, and offer thanks and transparency as this six-year campaign reached its end. It also included an honor roll for major donors. The report was packaged and sent with our alumni magazine, the Voice, which featured an article on the future of college funding priorities.
